Any biosurfactant candidates to investigate?

Region 1.2 has a surfactin reference match. Its srfAA gene is a good place to start.

A few useful answers.

Have a question about your dataset?
Talk to the Elychat team

What can I upload today?

A bacterial or fungal (beta) nucleotide FASTA with a .fasta, .fa, or .fna extension, up to 50 MB. Fungal analysis takes longer, often several hours. Plant and human genomes are planned for future updates.

How does the free trial work?

Request access to try your first five strains free. Without an invite code, our team reviews and activates your account. A valid invite code can provide immediate access.

What happens after I upload?

Your assembly enters the processing queue for annotation and BGC detection. You can track progress in your workspace and start asking Ely once results are ready. Processing time depends on your genome and the queue.

Who owns my data?

You retain ownership of your uploaded sequences and analysis. Account access is separated by client. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for the service's data policies.

Do predictions confirm biological activity?

No. Annotations, BGC predictions, and Ely's answers support research. Confirm biological activity experimentally and validate conclusions against the supporting evidence.
